Our building is part of the Swanwick Junction museum complex of The Midland Railway – Butterley.

 

The train from Butterley Station brings you to us.

We are generally open when trains are running plus other days as well, but exact

  

days are not guaranteed. All our members are volunteers.

Educational or group visits can be arranged. We can combine with the main

 

Railway to provide an integrated resource for school visits.

WHAT CAN YOU SEE

 

 

Our building serves as workshop and store,

 

therefore access is restricted and limited to a viewing area.

 

A selection of our vehicles can be seen.

 

We are not yet up to museum standard,

 

but should you wish to have access to anything in our collection,

 

we will endeavour to escort you to it.
